Thigh Surgery

This surgery can be an out patient procedure, if itís performed only with liposuction; or it could require a 24 to 48 hour hospital stay, if the liposuction is associated with the lifting of the internal part of the thighs. This is decided according to the type of problem the patient has. In case of liposuction itís an out patient procedure, which in the postoperative, the patient needs special bandages and lymphatic drainage. In case a lifting of the legs and  liposuction is performed, the patient would require a 24 to 48 hour hospital stay, and also the use of bandages and lymphatic drainage in the postoperative. It can be performed under sedation, general anesthesia, or peridural blockade.
